Im sorry to report that my buddy, Jon L. in Scottsdale, AZ just got laid off from the same company that I was laid off from about 4 years ago. I just wanted to let everyone know that if you were just laid off, “don’t sit back on that severance”. That is the LAST thing you want to do. Now is the time where you are basically getting a paid vacation to startup exactly what you want to do!

This is the perfect time to start a business. Millions of people are sitting at a job they hate wishing that they could just have a couple days off to get started. That is all they need, just a little TIME to get going!

So, now you have just been laid off and rather than seizing this HUGE opportunity that has been handed to you, you are going to choose to sit back and relax….???

GO BIG, OR GO BACK TO A CUBICLE.

Jon, keep your head up and use what you know! You have immense knowledge that others are seeking! Put it out there in the form of a business, and you WILL SUCCEED.

It turned out to be a gorgeous weekend, so my buddy Dan Brophy and I made our way out to Chestnut Hills to play the front 9.  Advice to anyone:  Work hard, and Play hard.  Take time out to get away from it all!  It was a quiet, beautiful course, and we had a great time hackin it around.  I hadn’t played golf in a while and it showed..  58, $%!@#.  Dan shot a 47.(nice)  I guess I will have to hit the range!  Anyway, it was a great time, and it really took my mind into a different place which opens up great creative energy when you return! 

Sweating palms and knees shaking… I haven’t eaten all morning.. then my phone rings in my tiny cubicle cell. It’s my wife.. baby crying in the background.. she whispers did you do it yet… , I have to use code words or long pauses to answer a yes or no… She encourages me that we need the raise, we can’t afford diapers, our mortgage, and other.. it is our first child, and we are both 23 years old.. I have already been laid off from one job and I am fighting to stay alive in another…

Now, I take the long walk down the hall to the bosses office, where he sits in his big leather chair, beautiful window view and I knock lightly. He is very outgoing and welcoming until he sees the fear in my eyes, and I say “I need money”.. I mean, I need a raise.. I need $16.00 an hour… (only .50 raise, WOW, can you believe I am asking for such a high dollar… when I am winning awards for the brilliant work I am doing… I should be getting a lot more than that.. but regardless of the work I am doing… the response is always the same… well you know the company is having a tough quarter and it is going to be difficult to get anything, let alone 50 cents. I will have to run it by the manager and he will go to the CEO and we will see what we can do…

OK. Have I tortured you enough… I lived through this event… and sadly I bet you have too.. So, what did I do about it? I took ACTION.

I promised my wife and child at the age of 23 that I would find a way to make enough money to stay home, NO, not just enough to stay home, but enough so that we didn’t have to worry about buying that LARGE coke, or get that extra ICE CREAM CONE, or get her NAILS done…

Ya know, the STUFF that lets you LIVE.. the latte that you want… the toy that your son or daughter wants so bad.. and your heart is torn out because, you just can’t say YES.

Well, it is time, right now, to say YES. Say YES to LIFE. SAY YES TO FREEDOM.

Now lets get down to business. I was rejected on that raise, and so I decided to make a big change. I decided to start my own online business.

How did I do it?

I found a product, I researched competition, I sold the heck out of it, and then I adjusted… all online, all from home, and I did it with Passion, Hard Work, and Desire… the first year, 1.2 million in sales, and the second year was 1.3 million in sales.

So, the answer is YES. Yes, you can go from a limited job, with a limited salary.. to big time success. The hype is real… many people across the world are making big money with real substantial businesses.

I want everyone out there to feel the ultimate success benefits of working the hours you want, when you want, and where you want.

Spend time with your family, friends, or do something fun for yourself. You will have plenty of time once you get started.
